Our most senior team member, superfast John drinks from the fountain of youth and shows no signs of slowing up, beating competition half his age. He is now a regular in the team quartet and hammers around the boards in his now familiar streamlined tuck. He has worked tirelessly at his position, following a back injury, and now seems to have it to perfection. Clearly his dogged determination to get it just right has paid dividends. He now must have one of the lowest drag coefficients possible. Well done John!
Terrified of spoiling his power to weight ratio, John lives on a bread and water ration and always forfeits the fruit cake at the trackside cafe. It clearly works and his huge starting effort has been known to break chains and strip teeth!
John makes a huge contribution to the team and is a versatile team member. We know him as a highly organised and disciplined cyclist, always prepared and ready and he has never forgotten his cycling shoes!
He has moved over to some new disciplines with ease and we are following his progress with great interest. A great Kilo rider, he is now one of two excellent exponents of this event in the team.
